In order to show their dedication towards their teachers, the Students celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm. It is the first event that is organised by the students every year. The students put together a fun-filled function including group dance, group songs and skit for the teachers in order to honour them and it was followed by lunch. The lunch was served in traditional Indian style, highlighting the guru-shishya tradition in Indian culture.

Understanding and Celebrating the importance of Teachers, Institute of Informatics and Communication commemorated Teachers Day on September 5, 2016 at the institute. Following the trend of aspiring the culture and acknowledging the faculty and staff, students prepared and performed a number of performances and events ranging from Group Singing, Dancing, and Poetry. The event marked a beautiful end with an power-packed skit bearing the message of importance of Teachers and how superstition is a cliche.
The teachers pitched their thoughts over the event and shared their college and school life stories.
